Foals by Ontario sires, regardless of the country, province or state of foaling, are eligible for Ontario sire stakes races. This gives breeders the potential benefit of dual programs for foals born outside Ontario, and an excellent incentive for farms in the Northeastern or Midwest United States to breed to Ontario stallions. Combined with the value of the Canadian dollar at current U.S. exchange rates, this program offers great value for breeders now, and in the future.
